The habit of controlling others is an expression of selfishness. When I feel insecure, I become self-absorbed and I want things to be the way that makes me most comfortable. I experience emotional instability when I build my sense of security on external conditions (people, position, place, power) as they are always changing. When I nurture security inside myself, I am able to release the grip of control. I build inner security when I depend on my core qualities for living. Today let me nurture an inner sense of security and relax into the flow of life.
