“Hope is a powerful antidote to despair. Right now, the thing that is helping the most is micro-dosing hope.” Brene Brown
Hope is not an emotion. It is a cognitive-behavioural process. It’s about having an aim combined with a sense of personal agency to create a path to achieve it. Even the smallest aim (taking care of myself today or helping a friend) creates the experience of hope. Where I have agency, I can and WILL act. This keeps hope alive in me. Hope can then spread to others. Today let me micro-dose hope.
